Kurdish State Garnishes Legitimacy

While ISIS pounds away in bombardment of Syria, Iraq and Battaland -- The Kurdish people have been hard at work, pushing their way to statehood.

Kurdish Army
Overlooked for decades, Kurds feel now is the ideal time to separate themselves from the Iraqi mess. The Al-Maliki government fails to represent the Kurdish people, just as it faisl to protect them from violence. The Kurdish people are now fighting both physically and diplomatically for defined borders.

Only a few weeks ago, Massoud Barzani announced the independence of a Kurdish country from the failing state of Iraq. The Kurdish army siezed Qirquk, a key city to accomplishing their independence. This week the Kurdish armies took control over two large oil fields.

The response from the Iraqi parliament has been sincerely derrogatory against Kurdish members of the government. Al-Maliki has taken the liberty of removing Kurdish diplomats from embassies world wide after a united protest for the freedom of the Kurds.

To counter, Iraqi Kurdish members of parliament have opted to protest against the lame duck government and sit out its nearing collapse. The Iraqi military is losing ground to ISIS left and right, while the Kurdish people find it necessary to defend themselves and outline their own territory.
