Al-Jamhurayah Al-Batta Dawlat Battastan

Where the Kingdom of Sw3ania once stood, a new and progressive Saquack Hussein announces that terms have changed. On a speech last friday, Saquack Hussein announced that Sw3ania is no more and that the King, as well as his family, have vacated the country.

Saquack discussed the long and oppressive history of the Royal Swan family over the ducks of Sw3ania. He pledged from now on and further to represent all ducks of the realm, from the border with Battaland, down south to the border with Yemen. Saquack pledges to modernize Londonistan, and industrialize the petroleum industry within their land. And finally, he announced that he will serve as the first president of the Jamhurayah Al-Batta Dawlat Battastan ---that is, the Ducks' Republic of the State of Battastan.

Saquack Hussein Addresses Battastan
Battaleon has not yet addressed Battaland officially on Saquack Hussein or Battastan. However, the former king of Sw3ania was a known supporter of Battalouis XVIII. In depth analysis shows that the monarchy of Sw3ania had become more secluded over the last 20 years. Most of the interior control was in joint authority from the Kingdom's official cabinet and the military.

Laws were not being enforced in Sw3ania, and the police were known for extorting residents. There remains a wealthy upper class, however, the extended family of Al-Sw3anoud has been understood to have vacated the country -- leaving their palaces, cars, and yachts behind. The lower class has been increasing over the past 20 years, due to a foundering economy as a direct result of the ruling family's negligence to invest in the future infrastructure of Sw3ania.

"From now on, we are no longer subjected to Sw3ania. We are the independent and industrious Republic of the Ducks, we shall know ourselves to be Battastan." said Saquack in his address.

Work has already begun to construct large petroleum pumping devices in the desserts of Battastan. Saquack plans to utilize the resources of Battastan to industrialize the country, and boost the economy for the underclasses.
