Battaleon welcomes Putin to Quacbec

Putin & Battaleon meeting in Versialles Palace, Quacbec

This morning, a plane landed in Battaland coming from Moscow. On board was Premier Vladimir Putin. Putin and Battaleon have been speaking over the past few weeks. When it looked like Umrika was backing Saquack, Battaleon consulted with the Russian president and began discussions towards a pact.

Although Umrika backed out and Hollywood pulled support from Saquack after it was discovered he had an illegal trade agreement with Exxon Petroleum, Moscow and Quacbec continued discussions. Initially over a purchase of armaments, the talks with Putin have led the ground work for a pact and have paved a path for a military and diplomatic alliance.

During the times of the Soviet Union, North Battaland was a dedicated ally with the Russians. However, after things went downhill with Donald, the USSR pulled support in 1986. However, only 6 years later, the Soviet Union collapsed under itself.

Russia has been anxiously seeking an ally in the continent, one that it can start building a relationship with. Putin has been looking to expand Russia's sphere of influence. Now it seems as though he will soon iron out a mutual alliance with Battaleon, Emperor of Battaland.
