Bachar Al-Assad!
That's right, with an astonishing 88.7% of the vote, Bachar is once again re-elected democratically as president of the Syrian Republic.
This is not a joke. The wonderful thing about democracy is that it is a form of government that represents the people. However, in order to speak for representation, this requires stability and a level head. There is more to democracy than just an election. Any tyrant can be elected, especially when his country is burning and he can more easily call the shots.
The Syrian people have begun to take things in their own hands, and are continuing to repel against the regime that fails to represent them, and outside foreign invading powers.
