Interview with Saquack Hussein

In an exclusive, Battaland reporters were welcomed into Londonistan -- a city known for its diverse population faced with controversy and violence. Once the beautiful capital of a great vast empire, the city has seen its share of monarchs and dictators over the centuries.

Londonistan
The city itself is located between two rivers, with many bridges passing over. While the majority of the country are Ducks, there is a significant minority of Geese that populate this city. The eastern third of Battastan is populated almost entirely by Geese, which is short for Gees3ah-3ali. Geese are an internationally minority sect that follow closely the teachings of the 4th Kalif 3ali. However, geese and duck are often erroneously used interchangeably or exclusively as ducks.
Londonistan has frequently met with violent clashes between geese and ducks at the well beloved rivers. The weakened rule of the Al-Sw3anoud family has turned a blind eye towards. One of the first orders of reform Saquack has proposed is that the military will police the streets of Londonistan. There is zero tolerance for civil abuse between geese and ducks. Offenders will be executed after due trial.

Saquack met the reporter delegation and wished his best regards towards Battaleon. He spoke of his admiration to the Emperor's own coup, after escaping from Elba earlier this year. He said that he wanted to work with Battaleon as the democracies of the area should work together.

Saquack also mentioned the importance of industrializing and modernizing Battastan. Under the former monarchy, infastructure was ignored and the country grew poor and backwards.

Now with the king out of the picture, Saquack hopes to revitalize the people and utilize resources native to Battastan, such as the large petroleum reserves. Umrika has yet to officially come forward, however several petroleum companies from Hollywood have flown in and begun to develop petroleum pumps and refineries.

Saquack apologized that insurgents came to attack Battaland from Battastan. While it was during the reign of the king, he apologized as a military officer for not thwarting these devastating actions internally. He also admitted that King Abdel-Aziz Al-Sw3anoud knew about the secret terrorist bases that Donald Duck had established in the country ---some going as far back as the 1970s, before the Pyongquack missile test and UN sanctions.

Recent hype is that Donald Duck is preparing an armed invasion of Battastan to claim the territory that his bases are on, which are around the Ad Damman region. Unfortunately, state documents of the Regnum of Abdel-Aziz Al-Sw3anoud were exploded by officers of the royal guard ---including the documents holding the location of these bases. It is unclear whether Donald bribed Al-Sw3anoud or if he assembled them without regard to their legality.

Regarding the escalation of soldiers in North Battaland -- Saquack spoke about joining arms with Battaleon. That it is in the interests of Battaland and Battastan to disarm the nuclear threat of North Battaland and Donald Duck.

Battaleon has not yet addressed the people of Battaland or contacted Saquack officially
