It's Just Not Their Year, Is It?

Some times we are lucky, and other times we are not. For Malaysian Airlines, this has become one of the toughest --and perhaps final -- year of operation.

For nearly two months, after the disappearance of Malaysian flight MH370, theories abounded from terrorism to technical difficulty as the world searched for this missing giant aircraft. To date, the search has not turned up anything fruitful and the passengers remain missing. Presumably deceased.

This is not to make light of air tragedies. 239 lives, each an individual with a full story bursting at its seams, were lost. Surrounded in mystery and possibly no recovery from the sea or other trajection.

Now, only an hour ago, a militant Russian group shot down -- accidentally -- a Malaysian Airlines flight coming over from Amsterdam. The plane had 295 souls on board. The plane was exploded and crash landed over the Ukraine.

What bad luck for Malaysian Airlines. This first half of the year has already been filled with two extensive disasters for the company. How can they assure safety to passengers -- and safety being perhaps the most important choice customers make when choosing an airline.
