While Egyptians took to the streets in protest against Morsi. While the Military in Egypt performed a take over. While chaos and tumult filled the street. While all this was going on, where was the United States Secretary of State, John Kerry?
Why, out windsurfing of course! He took it upon himself to go to Massachusetts Island resort to rest & relax while Egypt entered into a hot blooded regime change.
This former candidate for president in the United States now handles all of America's foreign policy. So the question is, while Egypt, a key US ally in the Middle East and receiver of billions of USD in annual aid, spent a week in arms....is this the right time to go on vacation?
We consulted an Egyptian on the matter, very proud that her country has taken up to itself and ended the dictatorship of Morsi. "I am really surprised that the Secretary of State would go on vacation while Egypt is so unstable. I don't expect him to be as involved in Egypt as Egyptians, but I think it was inconsiderate to go on vacation."
Kerry declines to comment as currently the US Senate is debating whether or not to continue giving financial aid to Egypt.
